- 1 Tablespoon salted butter (see note below)
- 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 Tablespoon packed light brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg yolk
- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Place 1 Tablespoon salted butter in a microwave-safe mug and melt in the microwave (about 20 seconds.)

Stir in 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar and 1 Tablespoon packed light brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Separate 1 large egg yolk from egg white and just add the egg yolk to the mug (discard remaining egg white or refrigerate it in an airtight container to use for later.)

Stir well, then add 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour.

Stir again and then add 2 Tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir one final time to combine.
